Is it good to drink milk at night?



Cow’s milk is a naturally excellent source of calcium. It contains potassium, protein, phosphorus, vitamin A, D and B12. Most of the people got used to have a glass of milk as the starter meal of the day. But it makes the first meal of the day heavier than you want it to be. According to Ayurvedic researches consumption of warm milk is highly recommended at night before a better sleep.

Heart patients should choose a kind of low fat or non-fat milk. It controls the cholesterol level and high in take of protein may strengthen the skeletal system.

A glass of warm milk at night will make you physically and mentally strong and active for the following day. You may have a cheerful and happy mood in the next morning.

Due to its high protein content, milk can keep you full for a long period of time. It will boost the systematic blood supply to the brain and the produce of major hormones in our body. The abdominal diseases will be controlled and it reduces the risk of obesity as well.

The studies have shown that too much intake of milk at night may lead to several diseases. Only one glass of milk is recommended at night.
